A non-profit organization promoting community-based education, medical & dental care for Himalayan villages of Nepal. HWCF also specializes in trekking, expedition, rafting, jungle safari, sightseeing and cultural tours, sponsors sanitation programs in poor rural areas of Nepal and helps preserve the environment.

Nepalese Children’s Education Fund
A non-profit organization whose mission is to develop the potential of disadvantaged Nepalese children through education. NCEF is a project run entirely by volunteers in both Nepal and the US.

ArtXchange Gallery
Exhibits contemporary international art and creates cultural exchange through painting, sculpture, and photography. Gallery director Cora Edmonds developed a close bond with Nepal after a chance encounter with a young child in 2001 grew into a lifelong friendship. Primarily focused on the underserved Humla region in NW Nepal, ArtXchange works with Namaste Children’s Fund (co-founded by Edmonds) on educational initiatives and health projects, including the creation of a small boarding school for girls from impoverished villages.
